Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are looking for career-minded individuals for full-time first shift employment.
 
JOB SUMMARY:

Performs all customer service duties in our Columbus, Ohio office with a primary focus to accurately complete each job order entry and develop relationships with an assigned portfolio of customers. Responsible as a liaison between our customers and internal teams to ensure the correct, timely and successful delivery of our product according to each customer’s specific needs. Also assists with internal inventory analysis and tracking.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Responsible for processing all sales and job orders in a timely manner

  • Answer all incoming customer calls when necessary

​

  • Verify all paperwork for completeness and accuracy – attention to detail is required

​

  • Resolve customer problems or discrepancies by conducting the proper research necessary in an expeditious and tactful manner

​

  • Assist sales staff in maintenance of customer inventory by checking product count in company’s manufacturing production control system prior to processing an order

​

  • Maintain open communication with customers as well as sales and management staff to inform them of any order issues, delays, or backorders in a timely manner

​

  • Work with the accounting department to resolve delinquent accounts

​

  •  Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

​

  • Confident with numbers to ensure accuracy of the order entry process

​

  • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally

​

  • Maintain company standards for punctuality and attendance

​

The Customer Service Representative's duties and responsibilities encompass but are not limited to the following key objectives:

​

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Accurately process customer orders and ensure timely delivery of our products

  • Timely and effective communication of issues or changes in order status when necessary

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Inventory control and tracking

​

EDUCATION:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

​

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Prolonged sitting at workstation in a private office

  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds

​

JOB TYPE:

  • Full Time

​

PAY:

  • $15-18 hourly

​
